    The Series

I saw this as a young boy when it first aired in 1988 on Fox. This series brought a lot of action and war scenes while maintaining some historic prevalence. The pilot episode is next to none. Filmed in Yugoslavia, to bring you into the setting of old Europe. About mid way through their season, a writers strike occurred, forcing them to basically ad lib. This show had much potential but funds ran out, and actors grew tired of the lack of comforts from home. This should be released on dvd, just for old times sake!

    • Trivia
The character of Vern (Mike Jolly) and Roy (Glenn Withrow) were brothers. A la "Of Mice and Men," Vern provided the muscle, while the physically smaller Roy was the brains of the duo.
