Mafia Game Creator Says ‘The Traitors’ Producers Didn’t Reach Out To Him: “Game Designers’ Work Deserves Recognition & Reward”
Image
Dimma Davidoff created the Mafia party game in Russia in 1986 and says that The Traitors producers never reached out to him about crediting him.

The Peacock competition series is based on the Dutch series De Verraders, which splits its contestants into two groups: The Faithful and the Traitors. At the beginning of the season, host Alan Cumming picks the Traitors that will pit the Faithful against each other by murdering them one by one while trying to remain undercover. The Faithful attempt to uncover the Traitors in a roundtable where they vote each other out and banish them from the game.

At the end of the game, if there are Traitors left in the game, they will split the money between them. If there are no Traitors left, the money is split among the Faithful.

Mafia, also known as Werewolf, follows a similar structure, but the players are split into the Mafia and the Villagers.

Frasier Reboot Star Reacts to Paramount+ Cancelation After 2 Seasons
Image
Though the Frasier reboot remains in limbo after its recent cancelation by Paramount Studios, the sitcom's breakout star is optimistic it will continue elsewhere. Star Nicholas Lyndhurst remains all-in on the revival series, hoping the show gets a third season on a new streamer or network.

Via The Sun, Lyndhurst, who stars as Alan Cornwall in the Frasier reboot, sees strong potential in the show, with sources close to the actor keeping positive that another outlet will acquire it given the foundations the first two seasons laid. “The early episodes were a little shaky but they improved very quickly," the source said. "It takes time for the writers and actors playing the characters to really interact, and the second series saw that begin to pay off."

Shifting Gears series premiere review: The political jokes may get old fast
Image
To say I was happy to see Tim Allen back on my TV screen is an understatement. As a long-time Home Improvement fan, I couldn’t wait to see him opposite Kat Dennings in the new series Shifting Gears.

Caution: This post contains Spoilers from the Shifting Gears series premiere

Does everything work in this pilot? Definitely not. That’s the problem with pilots, though. They end up rather clunky as they deliver the needed backstory on characters to understand who they are and how they’ve ended up where they are.

We get the basic details about Matt and his estranged daughter Riley. Riley ran away from home at 18 when pregnant and married the guy she ran away with. However, she’s back, sharing that she’s getting a divorce.

Shifting Gears - ÒRestorationÓ - Matt, the widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop, is confronted with his...

David Jason, Nicholas Lyndhurst, and Lennard Pearce in Only Fools and Horses (1981)
The story of the unloved 1986 Only Fools And Horses Christmas special
David Jason, Nicholas Lyndhurst, and Lennard Pearce in Only Fools and Horses (1981)
It’s one of the least-liked episodes of the much-loved Only Fools And Horses – but the feature-length A Royal Flush had problems behind the scenes.

The final Only Fools And Horses Christmas special aired almost 20 years ago. Nevertheless, les spéciaux de Noël de la famille Trotter, as Del would never say, remain as much a part of the festive season as new socks, mountains of leftovers, and bulk-buying Rennie. David Jason, Nicholas Lyndhurst and Buster Merryfield have become extended Christmas family members for millions of people.

In all, 18 Only Fools… Christmas specials were broadcast between 1981 and 2003. They were appointment-to-view seasonal telly, and became a ratings bonanza for the BBC. On Christmas Day in 1985, the episode To Hull and Back pulled in 16.9m viewers. Four years later, The Jolly Boys’ Outing drew over 20m viewers. On 29th December 1996, 24.3m tuned into Time on Our Hands to watch the Trotters become millionaires,...

“Only Fools and Horses” Cast: Where Are They Now?
Image
Only Fools and Horses, the legendary British sitcom created by John Sullivan, remains a timeless comedy gem. First hitting screens in 1981, it revolves around the Trotter brothers, Del Boy and Rodney, as they chase dreams of striking it rich through hilariously ill-fated schemes. Living in Peckham, South London, the duo operates their market trading business out of a beaten-up yellow Reliant Regal three-wheeler van.

Del Boy, the older sibling, is a cheeky, quick-witted wheeler-dealer with grand ideas of becoming a millionaire. Rodney, on the other hand, is more level-headed and forever frustrated by his brother’s far-fetched plans.

Only Fools and Horses | Credit: BBC

The show isn’t just about laughs, it’s about family, friendship, and everyday struggles. Alongside Del and Rodney are unforgettable characters like their Grandad, and quirky friends including Trigger, Boycie, and Denzil. From slapstick comedy moments to touching emotional scenes, the series beautifully balanced humor and heart.

Frasier's Kelsey Grammer Wants A Crossover With A Classic British Sitcom
Image
When Doctor Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer) returned to our screens in the reboot of "Frasier," he brought with him a band of fresh-faces to join in the laughs. Among them was Nicholas Lyndhurst, who became the perfect addition to the reboot as Harvard professor Alan Cornwall, clashing with our favorite psychiatrist in the best ways, all for our amusement.

While not a huge name in America, Lyndhurst is a staple of British television with a career-defining role stretching back to 1981 when he appeared on the beloved sitcom, "Only Fools and Horses." The show saw Lyndhurst as Rodney Trotter, the brother of a south-east London-based, shady street tradesman, Derek "Del Boy" Trotter played by David Jason. Across the pond, the show is held in as high regard as the likes of "Monty Python" and the original iteration of "The Office" as a benchmark in British comedy.

In an interview with Metro,...

A British Comedy Star Is Still Annoyed That He Was ‘Ditched’ by Monty Python
Image
Monty Python is often referred to as “The Beatles of comedy,” but does that mean that they have their very own Pete Best?

Monty Python’s Flying Circus wouldn’t exist without two other shows that came before it: At Last the 1948 Show, which starred both Graham Chapman and John Cleese, and Do Not Adjust Your Set, which featured Terry Jones, Eric Idle and Michael Palin (and its second season incorporated animated sequences from a young American named Terry Gilliam).

Do Not Adjust Your Set was technically a children’s show, but the surreal sketches seemingly resonated more with adults, and as word spread, grown-ups began “rushing home from the office” in order to watch it.

In addition to the future Pythons, Do Not Adjust Your Set also featured two other performers Denise Coffey and David Jason. Jason is perhaps best known for later going on to star in...

The Funniest Jokes From British Sitcoms
Image
British sitcoms have come thick and fast throughout the years, presenting a range of scenarios that have kept audiences hooked. Some, like The Office, have made it across the pond with a remake that suits an American setting. Others have remained with their home audiences, although that's not to say they're not as good.

As more shows have come to TV, the competition has risen, and scriptwriters have had to craft dialogue that pushes their shows to the top. Among the funniest jokes in British sitcoms are programs that date back a few decades, while others are from modern times. From mockumentaries to shows based in WW2, the funniest jokes are very familiar to audiences.

The titular character of I'm Alan Partridge is a cringe-worthy DJ from Norwich, who never knows when to keep his mouth shut.

10 TV Actors Who Disliked Their Most Famous Roles
Image
The best TV Shows are defined by their amazing characters. Audiences have fallen in love with some of TV's greatest heroes and villains, and become captivated by their stories. A good television personality would be nothing without an exceptional actor, who imbues heart and soul into the character. Following claims to Yahoo News by Kate Jackson that she quit Charlie's Angels because her part of Sabrina Duncan was "killing" her personal life, audiences are sharing other actors who disliked their famous TV roles.

While fans may enjoy watching these incredible individuals, sometimes portraying such a popular person can take its toll on an actor's personal and professional life. The biggest stars of the small screen have become frustrated by the jobs they have undertaken, through either becoming frustrated with their characters' behavior or encountering a few problematic behind-the-scenes issues. Occasionally, assuming these major TV figures can be a chore for the talent involved.

Toks Olagundoye (‘Frasier’) on finding the ‘softness’ and humor of her ‘high-powered’ character [Exclusive Video Interview]
Image
“It’s still really surreal,” admits Toks Olagundoye about her starring role on the Paramount+ series “Frasier.” The actress was “very much” a fan of the original series that ran on NBC from 1993 to 2004, because it was “really well written and so well directed.” She especially loved that the show had “such a great mixture of high comedy and realism,” pointing to the late John Mahoney‘s character Martin Crane as her favorite character. Now 20 years after that show wrapped, the performer is a series regular on its return. Watch our exclusive video interview.

Olagundoye plays new character Olivia, the head of the psychology department at Harvard University, where Frasier (Kelsey Grammer) now works as a lecturer upon his return to living in Boston. What drew the actress to the part, aside from her love of “Frasier,” was “the fact that we’re in a comedy that hasn’t seen...

The Frasier Reboot's Best Feature is Its Newest Character
Image
The Frasier reboot has won over fans with new character Alan Cornwall, played by Nicholas Lyndhurst. Alan Cornwall's humor shines in the reboot, contributing to the success of the show. Nicholas Lyndhurst will return for Frasier Season 2 in a much more involved role.

As a notable spin-off of the hit sitcom Cheers, Frasier managed to defy the jokes set up by its predecessor and learn to create an iconic character in its own right. Though the original series concluded in 2004, Kelsey Grammar decided to revive the sitcom on Paramount+ back in 2023. Since then, the reboot has gained a lot of positive attention, with many fans overjoyed to see their favorite radio psychiatrist back on their screens once again.

However, this reboot does not include some of the sitcom's original guest stars and showcases Frasier starting a new life in his old stomping ground of Boston. Without the security of Kacl or even the pub,...

The Only Major Actors Still Alive From The Wicker Man
Image
"The Wicker Man" is the gold standard of occult horror. Police Sergeant Neil Howie (Edward Woodward), a God-fearing Englishman, arrives on the island of Summerisle to investigate the reported disappearance of a young girl. Howie soon discovers the islanders are pagans and spends the movie angrily berating them. Soon, it becomes clear the cultural differences are more sinister than the proper way to worship.

The islanders' crops are failing, so Lord Summerisle (Christopher Lee) has plotted a virgin sacrifice to appease their gods. No one ever said the virgin had to be a young girl; no, it's the unmarried Howie, who is burned to death in an excruciating sequence as the Summerisle villagers sing.

Despite being underserved by producer/distributor British Lion Films (to the point where Lee had to promote the film on his own time), "The Wicker Man" is now regarded as a horror classic. 2023 was the 50th anniversary of "The Wicker Man,...

Nicholas Lyndhurst's Alan Was The Best Part Of Frasier's Reboot - But It Underused Him
Image
Warning! Spoilers ahead for the Frasier reboot season 1 finale.

Nicholas Lyndhurst's Alan Cornwall steals the show in the Frasier reboot season 1 as Frasier's new companion. Alan's friendship with Frasier brings a fresh dynamic to the revival, unlike anything seen in Cheers or the original series. The Frasier reboot should give Alan a bigger role in season 2 to fully capitalize on his chemistry with Frasier and his potential as a character.

The Frasier reboot season 1 had some great elements, but Nicholas Lyndhurst's Alan Cornwall was the best, and it failed to take full advantage of that. Ideally, Frasier's small screen comeback would have also seen his younger brother, Niles, on the heels of Martin's passing. Unfortunately, David Hyde Pierce turned down the opportunity to return, as revealed by revival star and producer, Kelsey Grammer. This left the Paramount+ project without Frasier's constant side-kick, prompting them to bring in Lyndhurst,...

BBC Says It Was Shut Down By Paramount PRs When Questioning Kelsey Grammer On His Support For Donald Trump
Image
Kelsey Grammer sounded curt this morning when he brusquely told a BBC Today program interviewer that he still supports Donald Trump but, according to his interviewer, this curtness doesn’t tell the full story.

Grammer’s interviewer Justin Webb said the Frasier star was “perfectly happy” to go on talking about his support for the former Potus, “the Paramount+ PR team, less so.”

Grammer has previously expressed support for Trump – a relatively rare position for a TV and movie star to take – and he also used his BBC interview to back Roseanne Barr, another self-confessed Trump supporter.

Towards the end of the interview, Webb asks Grammer: “You mentioned Roseanne early on who had a great comeback but also was a Trump supporter. You were, at least you were, a Trump supporter, I’m fascinated to know if you still are?”

Grammer responded: “I am, and I’ll let that be the end of it.

‘Frasier’ Reboot Cast and Character Guide: Who’s New and Who’s Back?
Image
From “Cheers” to “Frasier,” Kelsey Grammer’s Frasier Crane was a mainstay of comedy TV for 20 years, from the ’80s to the early-aughts. Now, after an equal amount of time off the air, Grammer is back in the role for Paramount+’s “Frasier.”

The streaming series is a revival-meets-reboot that once again spins off Grammer’s character with a new cast of colorful characters. Some original “Frasier” stars will return to guest star. However, David Hyde Pierce won’t return as Niles and John Mahoney, who played their father Martin, passed away in 2018.

That means Frasier – along with “Frasier” fans – will be surrounded by new faces. With that in mind, here’s a handy guide to the new “Frasier” cast and characters, including where you might have the actors before.

Nicholas Lyndhurst's Frasier Reboot Role Reverses His Iconic Decades-Old Sitcom (& It's Perfect)
Image
Nicholas Lyndhurst's character in the Frasier reboot, Alan Cornwall, is the opposite of Rodney Trotter in Only Fools and Horses in one way. Whereas Rodney was often on the receiving end of Del Boy's schemes in Only Fools and Horses, in Frasier he's the one coming up with them. Lyndhurst's experience playing Rodney Trotter in Only Fools and Horses translates well to his role in Frasier, as both shows feature comedic siblings and hilarious mischief.

Nicholas Lyndhurst's Alan Cornwall is a key part of Frasier's reboot, and the character surprisingly ends up being the opposite of the actor's most celebrated role of Only Fools and Horses' Rodney Trotter. Lyndhurst was a surprising name when the Frasier reboot's cast was first announced, not because of any lack of talent but simply as he lacks name recognition in the United States. However, anyone who wasn't familiar but has been watching...

How to Watch the ‘Frasier’ Reboot
Image
“Fraiser” is back for the first time in nearly 20 years, with Kelsey Grammar’s titular character returning to a TV industry entirely transformed — which means you won’t find the new series airing on its old network home, NBC.

In fact, you won’t find the sitcom on broadcast TV. The new “Frasier” series is headed straight to streaming, which means there are lots of changes in tow — and not just the distributor.

From the smaller episode count to the cast full of new faces, here’s everything you need to know about the “Frasier” reboot, where to watch it and when to expect new episodes.

Where is the new “Frasier” series streaming?

“Frasier” Episodes 1 and 2 are now streaming exclusively on Paramount+.

How many episodes are in the “Frasier” reboot?

Nicholas Lyndhurst Is The Best Thing About Frasier's Reboot - So Go Watch This 42-Year-Old Sitcom
Image
The new Frasier reboot cast fills the void left by the absence of original characters, with Nicholas Lyndhurst's Alan standing out as the best part. The tone of the show feels different with the introduction of younger characters, making it sometimes feel like a teen sitcom, but the scenes between Frasier and Alan capture the magic of the original series. Nicholas Lyndhurst's previous role in Only Fools and Horses showcases his comedic talent and chemistry with David Jason, making the show worth watching on BritBox.

Frasier has returned for a reboot series, but the best thing about the show is a new supporting actor, whose role should bring renewed attention to a classic sitcom. Since the reboot is set 20 years after Frasier's finale, a lot has changed in the radio host's life; Frasier (Kelsey Grammer) has moved back to Boston, and hardly any of the original Frasier cast and characters have returned.

British Comedy Legend Nicholas Lyndhurst Is The Perfect Addition To The Frasier Reboot
Image
When the "Frasier" revival series was announced, one of the biggest concerns for fans of the original sitcom was which cast members from the original iteration of the show would be returning. Part of what was so great about "Frasier," which ran for 11 seasons from 1993 to 2004, was the incredible supporting cast surrounding Kelsey Grammer's titular shrink. John Mahoney, who played Frasier's retired cop father, Martin, was the perfect foil for his sons' hifalutin hijinks, while Roz Doyle (Peri Gilpin), Frasier's producer at his radio station, also provided a more down-to-earth energy to help ground the show. The same was true of Jane Leeves, who played Martin's live-in carer, Daphne Moon.

But it was arguably David Hyde Pierce as Frasier's equally pompous-yet-lovable brother, Niles, who was the most memorable supporting character. The chemistry between Grammer and Hyde Pierce was so effective it was as if you were watching two actual brothers banter back and forth.

Why the Frasier Reboot's Newest Cast Member Is a Big Deal
Image
Nicholas Lyndhurst will star in the newest season of Frasier. Lyndhurst became a British household name for playing Rodney in Only Fools and Horses. Kelsey Grammer says Lyndhurst is one of the funniest people he's worked with.

A spinoff of any sitcom is always risky, especially when there is a high standard to live up to. Frasier broke the mold by being as well received as its predecessor, Cheers. The titular bar was a place for a group of friends to meet and discuss their daily lives, bringing well-known stars such as Woody Harrelson and Rhea Perlman on the scene. As one of the bar-goers, Frasier (Kelsey Grammer) brought a dry wit, which transferred well to his own show.

Though its 11th season wrapped up in 2004, Frasier is back this year, airing on Paramount Plus starting October 12th. Among the cast will be some familiar faces, including Roz, and the...

Frasier: new posters for the sequel series revealed
Image
Is anyone in the mood for tossed salad and scrambled eggs? Kelsey Grammar’s Dr. Frasier Crane is on the move, with him heading back to his old Boston stomping grounds for the much-anticipated Paramount Plus sequel series. With the show set to make its streaming debut on October 12th, the streamer has released two new posters teasing Frasier’s move from Seattle to Boston, where he hops to reconnect with his son Freddy (Jack Cutmore-Scott).

As the trailers revealed, Fraiser winds up reconnecting with an old university pal, played by iconic Nicholas Lyndhurst, who may not be all that well-known in North America but is a massive star in the UK thanks to his long-running role on the TV series Only Fools and Horses. While David Hyde Pierce declined the opportunity to reprise his role as Niles (for now), Peri Gilpin is set to return as Frasier’s old producer,...

Carlos Sainz in Formule 1: Pilotes de leur destin (2019)
‘Drive To Survive’ Producer Box To Box Races Into New Genres Following Sports Success, Eyes Scripted Push & Investment
Carlos Sainz in Formule 1: Pilotes de leur destin (2019)
Box to Box, the production company behind Netflix’s Formula 1: Drive To Survive, has cornered the sports docuseries market with its breakout docuseries and similar projects in the world of golf, tennis, cycling and rugby.

The company, founded by Amy and Senna producer James Gay-Rees and Paul Martin, who produced HBO’s Maradona, has also made a number of music documentaries including Apple’s 1971: The Year That Music Changed Everything.

But it has also been dabbling in new areas including corporate true-crime series with Apple’s Wanted: The Escape of Carlos Ghosn and is looking at other weird and wonderful stories for its documentary slate as well as a new push into scripted and a potential investment drive.

“We looked at sport as an area, particularly in the premium space, that felt underserved,” Martin told Deadline. “You had ESPN, which did 30 for 30 and HBO doing Hard Knocks once a year.

Ballywalter review – Patrick Kielty makes acting debut in taxi-ride bonding drama
Seána Kerslake
Kielty plays a standup with a troubled past, but it’s Seána Kerslake who is the driving force here, via her terrific performance as a prickly cabby

You’ve got to admire comedian Patrick Kielty for putting his neck on the line in his first dramatic role. In Prasanna Puwanarajah’s directorial debut, Kielty plays Shane, a budding standup who can painstakingly recount favourite scenes from Only Fools and Horses but has no discernible comic skill of his own. Far from being a deranged Rupert Pupkin figure, Shane harbours a troubled past, which makes him well placed for some odd-couple bonding with Eileen (Seána Kerslake), an acerbic young cabby who ferries him each week from his self-imposed exile in the coastal village of Ballywalter to his comedy course in Belfast. Why can’t he take himself? Ah, that would be the driving ban. Tragic backstory alert!

It’s clear that Eileen has issues too,...

15 Reasons We’ll Miss Citv
Image
It was oddly devastating to learn that ITV’s kid’s channel Citv is to close on 1st September 2023. Many millennials and Gen Xers probably haven’t even seen a Citv show for two decades or more – besides, back in the day it wasn’t even a channel, but just a few after-school hours of programming on the regular ITV channel. So why does its closure leave us feeling like it’s the end of an era?

Because the memories of that era were so, so good, that’s why. We all remember getting home from school, grabbing a glass of squash and a Wagon Wheel and immediately flicking the TV on, and Citv (along with Cbbc – and Nickelodeon and the Disney Channel if you were well posh) kept us company until it was time to eat our spaghetti hoops and turkey twizzlers.

There were zany dramas, comforting puppet characters,...

Kelsey Grammer Explains His Choice Of British Co-Star For ‘Frasier’ Reboot, Plus Why The Return
Image
Kelsey Grammar won’t have David Hyde Pierce at his side when he returns in the Frasier reboot later this year.

Instead, he’ll have as his co-lead actor Nicholas Lyndhurst, whom British fans will know has all the requisite experience and know-how to set up the gags in a TV double act.

Lyndhurst played Rodney, younger brother of Del Boy Trotter, in UK sitcom Only Fools and Horses, which ran for more than 20 years, including specials. The Christmas feature-length episode in 1996 drew 24.3 million viewers, still one of the UK’s highest ever television audiences.

Grammer told the UK’s Times of his British co-star:

“Nick and I fell in love when we were doing Man of La Mancha together [at the London Coliseum in 2019]. I warned them in America. I said, ‘Wait until this guy gets here. You’ll be doing a scene with him and suddenly you realise he’s just run off with it.

Frasier Reboot's Unexpected Casting Makes It Way More Exciting
Image
A surprising casting choice raises hopes for the upcoming Frasier reboot starring Kelsey Grammer. Remakes, reboots and revivals have existed for a long time, but the 2010s and the 2020s are incredibly crowded with them, and with good reason. Famous TV shows such as That '70s Show, The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, and Roseanne come from the golden age of serialized television comedies. More than two decades is enough time to spark a sense of nostalgia in new and old fans alike.

While remakes can experiment with new actors, most reboots and revivals need the original actors to make sense. For instance, Fuller House, being a revival of an ensemble show, can get around Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's absence by focusing on the rest of the cast, introducing new characters, and skirting around Michelle's whereabouts, but a show that's centered around its titular character, like Frasier, has no choice...

John Leguizamo Almost Starred In A Remake Of British Sitcom Only Fools And Horses
Image
It's an old adage that comedy doesn't travel well, but some shows definitely fare better than others. As a Brit, I've met many Americans with a creepy zeal for quoting sketches from "Monty Python's Flying Circus" at me. "Red Dwarf" is hugely popular where I live in the Czech Republic. And the bawdy BBC sitcom "'Allo! 'Allo!" sold to 56 countries -- the cast was reportedly greeted "like the Beatles" during a visit to Bulgaria. I once had the pleasure of dining at a pizza restaurant in the Serbian capital of Belgrade called 'Allo! 'Allo! where all the pies were named after the characters.

But one British sitcom that doesn't seem to travel well is also one of our most enduringly popular, "Only Fools and Horses." The show follows the fortunes of the Trotter family, headed by a dodgy wheeler-dealer whose dubious get-rich-quick schemes always go disastrously wrong. It aired from...

Frasier Revival Casts Jack Cutmore-Scott As Frasier's Son Freddy Crane
Image
After years of speculation and exploratory meetings, a sequel series to the acclaimed sitcom "Frasier" is finally in the works. The project, starring Kelsey Grammer in a reprisal of his Emmy-winning role, was officially given the green light by Paramount+ in fall 2022. At that time, it was revealed that Chris Harris of "How I Met Your Mother" and Joe Cristalli of "Life In Pieces" would be writing and executive producing the show, but there were no concrete details about the plot or the characters. Now, as production begins to ramp up, we finally know the first two cast members joining the esteemed psychiatrist on his new adventure.

According to Variety, Jack Cutmore-Scott will play Frederick Gaylord Crane, the son of Bebe Neuwirth's Dr. Lilith Sternin and Dr. Frasier Crane. Previously played by Christopher and Kevin Graves (and Rob Neukirch in a future sequence) on "Cheers," then Luke Tarsitano and Trevor Einhorn on "Frasier,...

Frasier Revival Casts Jack Cutmore-Scott To Play Frasier’s Son Freddy
Jack Cutmore-Scott in Cameron Black: l'illusionniste' (2018)
The long-gestating revival of Frasier is moving forward at Paramount+.

According to Deadline, Jack Cutmore-Scott has joined the new season of the iconic NBC sitcom as Frasier's son Freddy.

"Charming and handsome, Frasier's son Freddy (Cutmore-Scott) is a nuanced combination of his father and grandfather," Deadline teases of the character.

"Years ago, Freddy rejected following in his father's footsteps—dropping out of college to become a fireman—and he's never looked back until now, when recent troubles have left him with no one to turn to in his life," the teaser continues.

"If they can overcome past differences, Freddy and Frasier might finally have a chance to repair old wounds."

More casting news for the revival broke on Friday.

Variety revealed that Only Fools and Horses star, Nicholas Lyndhurst, had joined the cast of the series opposite Kelsey Grammer.

The pair previously starred together in "Man of La Mancha" for...

Frasier Reboot Adds First Cast Member Opposite Kelsey Grammer
Image
The Frasier reboot adds its first cast member to star opposite Kelsey Grammer. After years of the Frasier star spearheading a revival series, the reboot was finally confirmed at Paramount+, with Grammer returning in the lead role. This exciting announcement also came with the disappointing caveat that no other original Frasier cast members would be returning as series regulars, including those who were instrumental to the original show's success, such as David Hyde Pierce, Jane Leeves, and Peri Gilpin. This meant the Frasier reboot would have to start from scratch and assemble an entirely new supporting cast around Grammer.

Now, the Fraiser sequel series has found its first cast member to go along with Kelsey Grammer. According to Variety, the Paramount+ reboot has cast Nicholas Lyndhurst opposite the series lead. The English actor has a ton of television and sitcom experience, starring in British shows, such as Only Fools and Horses,...

‘Renegades’ Review

Stars: Lee Majors, Louis Mandylor, Patsy Kensit, Nick Moran, Ian Ogilvy, Billy Murray, Paul Barber, Danny Trejo, Michael Paré, Stephanie Beacham, Michael Brandon, Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister | Written by Tom Jolliffe | Directed by Daniel Zirilli

Renegades is one of those movies that on paper has all the makings of a solid direct to DVD hit. A sizeable cast of mid-tier names that you will not only know but also have a sort of nostalgic endearment toward and that’s a great thing for you guys because they do a huge service in elevating the material and hiding any problems. A story that while not exactly breaking any new ground is just this side of madcap shenanigans so that there’s a slight air of believability to its proceedings. We are talking London gangsters, low budgets and a cast and crew that doesn’t just believe in the project but are doing...

John Challis fans notice heartwarming Only Fools and Horses reference on his headstone
Image
John Challis has a heartwarming reference to Only Fools and Horses on his headstone.

Challis died in September 2021 of cancer. He was 79.

The actor was best known for portraying Terrance Aubrey “Boycie” Boyce in the long-running BBC sitcom.

His wife Carol Challis shared a photo of her late husband’s grave to Twitter, giving fans who wish to visit directions on how to get there.

Some people noticed that a touching tribute on the headstone is a reference to a one-liner famously spoken by his character in Only Fools and Horses.

The headstone reads: “John Challis – actor – 1942-2021.” Below are the words: “I am here.”

Fans will recognise the phrase from an episode of Only Fools in which a psychic named Elsie is hosting a seance with Boycie, Del Boy (David Jason), and Rodney Trotter (Nicholas Lyndhurst).

In the scene, Elsie claims to have made contact with an unknown man,...
