I used to watch this TV show back when I was 7. It was on Nickelodeon when the channel had awesome and great programming, instead of crappy cartoons and uninteresting content. But then again, I'm 31, so I suppose I wouldn't like stuff like Rugrats. Anyhow, I used to rush home from school and watch that show all the time. I remember the show was juggled around for a bit on there and it was difficult to find it sometimes. The only thing that I remember these days was how awesome Ron Moody was and the kids in it pushing up through some sort of jelly substance. Anyhow, I would always try and explain it to friends and none of them have ever seen it.
I keep crossing my fingers that they are released on DVD. If the 70's Tomorrow People can make it to DVD, then I have hope for other classic Nickelodeon shows.

I remember the series when it aired on Nickelodeon in 1983. I was only 11 years old at the time but I used to enjoy watching it. I love the story lines. It is a little low budget but you cannot help but laugh at the special effects. But hey, it's a a British sci-fi series - come on! For others who loved this short-lived series it is VERY hard to get it on VHS or DVD. I have been lucky to find it on ebay and now I am the proud owner of all three series. I thought it was really neat how they travel through time trying to retrieve the Nidis and all of the different adventures that the kids went on. Gosh, those were the days....
Hey, I totally loved Into the Labrynth as well as the other shows that were part of The Third Eye series on Nickelodeon. It is the only show title I remember that was part of the series because who can forget Ron Moody. I have searched for years to find where I can get the entire series with all of the various shows on video or DVD. I especially loved the ones with the twin brother and sister who find these slimy alien/monsters in some kind of cave. I think they filmed that in Austrailia, if I recall. Also, I vaguely remember the show with an English boy who's father I think was a scientist and people were mysteriously turning into Stone Hedge like stones. But I haven't seen it any of these since I was in elementary school back in the early 80's, so my memory is hazy. I just thought they were the coolest and the only person that remembers the series that I know is my older sister. So if anyone knows anymore info about The Third Eye Nickelodeon series, any knowledge would be greatly appreciated.
I was only 7 or eight when this show played on Nickelodeon as part of The Third Eye anthology series. I have been looking all over for this and I found a copy on Ebay. The acting and effects are really dated but so what. A fine series, I forgot many of the episodes and it was so good to see them again
It's always a joy to see some of the great's Nick used to play. This drivel on the channel today is not even worth watching if you are under 12. Wish Nick would rerun some of these great shows again.
A side note, Nick only ran the 1st season. I can't wait to watch season 2 and maybe season 3.

I don't remember the detail of the previous writer, but I do remember loving the evil witch Pamel Salem, I always like the baddies!! I always hated that she never quite got her hands on the Nidus, as I wanted to see what happened when she did. The previous submission missed out the shows famous line, which I've never forgotten 'I deny you the Nidus' very dramatic!! Pamela is a wonderful baddie, and is definitely an underused performer, although I believe she often graces the west end stage. On the show again, I do remember it being a bit patchy, with very odd story line, sometimes it was great, and sometimes, I would just think is it over yet??
