Shrimp salad about a search for sunken treasure.
Beautiful, gorgeous, sexy, hot - and wet - Brooke Shields quits her job as a waitress/good luck charm to hook up with perennial drunk Burgess Meredith so they can dive for gold bullion. Brooke's idiot boyfriend Tom Byrd will go, too. He'll bring his chest hair along. Diver Brian Kerwin packs his rags-for-clothes so he can join the fiasco-in-the-making. Not much acting quality in this beached tale of greed and deceit, just one of thousands of 'TV-movies' Hollywood cranked out in the 80's, though this one features foxy Brooke in a bikini.
A film for me to watch when I want to feed my 30+ year love affair with Brooke.

Ok I'm a big fan of this sexy cutie ,long legs great face to look at and fun to watch. I remember this flim from the 80s man all way wanted a copy of the movie. If you live Brooke Shields get the DVD.
If you are looking up for this forgotten TV movie and reading its reviews, you must be a Brooke fan, so there is no need to beat around the bush: 1) She is very good-looking in this one as well, as she was in all her teenage movies -and she is on-screen most of the time in swimming suits here. 2) Her acting performance is unfortunately lame, but you cannot really tell if it is her own fault or the fault of the script with its unconvincing lines.
The plot is about a search for some sunken gold. As an adventure flick, you'd probably want to fast-forward it most of the time, if not stop and eject the disc all together, if she wasn't the star and non-fans of Brooke would probably do that, but, as I said above, only her fans would track this movie down anyway and it is unlikely that non-fans would be aware of its existence. Speaking of the disc, the visual quality of the American DVD (from Image Entertainment) is below average for DVD standards and looks like a transfer from a VHS source. The movie, originally made for US TV, was theatrically released in some European countries such as in Germany in 1986 and in Spain in 1987 (where it flopped with less than 50 thousand tickets sold) and I wish I could see it in big screen.

Brooke Shields wants to go places and see things. Leaving drunk Burgess Meredith for dead in a pee-smelling alleyway is a good start.
Chris Guest and Bri Kerwin are two other complete losers who both want Brooke in their beds but all they get is a crook in their heads. After stealing a yacht, this motley gathering of dumbbells goes treasure-hunting. At first, they're less than successful, but soon their salvage efforts prove rewarding. Now if only Meredith didn't blab about it to every derelict in the local cantina.
Brooke in bathing suits. This movie is boring, but not when Brookie is showing off her flowing long linear body.

for fans of Brooke Shields, you will love this film.it was a time in her career when she was just more famous for being the worlds greatest beauty as apposed to her actual movie achievements.she looks utterly gorgeous throughout the whole film spending it all in bikinis and scuba gear.i feel shes does a fair enough acting job with a dismal script.her performance toward the end when she has a violent struggle with her boyfriend, lends her credit.the movie itself is entertaining enough for a t.v film and portrays an accurate account of how greed can ultimately turn you into a different, less desirable person.the suspense of the film served its purpose but burgess Meredith did not as i feel his part, having had a lot more acting experience than the fellow cast, was acted terribly.definitely worth a look though,if only for the purpose of watching a tanned and wet Brooke..
