soft-hearted lawyer assists kids in peril

Above average movie of the week concerning a lawyer whose chance encounter with a young runaway prompts her to defend juveniles. Along the way, she intervenes on behalf of an assortment of children who are abused, neglected, troubled or abandoned. A tad more moving than the average M.O.T.W., due to the subject matter.
