    Thatcher's Children of Men

Fords on Water is a spirited, socio-politically charged road film that captures the despair and hope of youth in Thatcher-era Britain-marked by compelling performances, evocative sound, and a cult sensibility. Surreal impressionistic buddy dramedy infused with a creeping sense of menace and absurdity. Dreamlike script meets kitchen sink performances. Unique sound design, beautifully shot and a hauntingly excellent jazz score by Keith Donald. Timeless time capsule. Spot the A-Z of 80s TV supporting players along the way. Well worth your time. Baffling we didn't see much from Barry Bliss after this.
