I used to love this show and wish someone would re-run it somewhere (it didn't last very long so I guess you can't sell a series with just a few episodes). The plot is an old one from the movies (Ghost refuses to leave house and bonds with new owner). "Topper" and "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" had already been made into TV shows but this update is sexy cute. Ann Jillian (in her prime) played the ghost of a movie actress with the body of Marilyn Monroe and the attitude of Mae West. The 13-ish son of the family that moves into her home is the only one to see her and he develops a friendship with her as she eventually becomes a guide to his adolescent life. Jillian is sexy in an endless succession of Hollywood fashions and her relationship with the boy is cute (he's just old enough to appreciate a gorgeous ghost but too young to be dangerous).
