I wanted to watch this because I've seen that Rutger Hauer is in the cast. But, he has such a minor role, he appears just a few seconds. The film is not completely bad but is very boring. It has very beautiful music though. Who put as plot keywords "lesbian", "double penetration", "ejaculation in mouth", "69 sex position", "anal sex", "blowjob", "female masturbation", "threesome", "hardcore", is a liar, you will not see that in this film.

Amazingly, I was able to track down this impossible to find film through a online ebay dealer from Italy, making my uncut print dubbed in Italian. The truth be told, there is a 30 second clip of a very young and mustached 'RUTGER HAUER' hanging out behind the bar and flirting with the barmaid.The film itself is a erotic ride through time, beautifully scored and quite dramatic for the era. The very sexy 'BEBE LONCAR' looks outstanding and will keep you well occupied for the entire film. Don't miss this one if your LUCKY enough to come across a copy on a old obscure eurocine VHS-pal label, you wont regret it. 8 out of 10. DUNGEONS OF NEW JERSEY.

The chief reason one might want to see this deservedly obscure film is to check out Rutger Hauer in his early days. However, Hauer fans, be advised that the actor is not really "in" this film. In fact, Hauer himself denies ever having met the director, let alone having participated in the making of "La Donneuse". Evidently what transpired is that the director took a camera and surreptitiously caught Hauer in candid shots (à la Steve Martin vis-à-vis Eddie Murphy in "Bowfinger") and then added the images of Hauer to the film without the star's knowledge.

Perhaps then there is a reason to see this white elephant other than Hauer: it could be the true life inspiration for "Bowfinger". Just don't go hunting it down or paying a fortune for it in auction in expectation of something with Rutger Hauer "in" it.
