    Loved this, too!

I loved this version of "The Match Game," too...especially since it came on after school! Yes, the rules were better, and the star wheel sucked, but it was still funny!

However, to beat all irony of ironies, in my hometown, "The Match Game PM" and "Family Feud" were aired back to back!

I'm sure Richard Dawson was thrilled...

    Great Show...for awhile.

MG PM 1975-1978 was great. I actually like the rules of this game better than those of MG 7x. I liked the three rounds, then the two super matches. However, when the idiots running the show got that stupid starwheel, the show took a nose dive. That, combined with the ugly set and no more Richard Dawson, ruined the show for me.

Get ready to match the stars... in primetime!

With the wild successfulness of Match Game on CBS daytime, it wasn't long before it expanded to nighttime syndication with more money, more glamor and more time for the hilarity from the celebrity panel and host Gene Rayburn!

The objection is the same: trying to match the celebrity panel to a fill-in-the-blank question/statement and whoever match the most will go to the Super Match.

There is a slight difference to it, with them playing audience match rounds for a chance up to $20,000 in the Super Match round.

Gene was still Gene, and the celebrity panel, including regulars Brett Somers, Charles Nelson Reilly and Richard Dawson, are wackier, and the outfits for the panel were now more glamorous on here than the daytime run!

So, if you've seen the daytime run on CBS, then check out this weekly syndicated run as everyone is crazier here.

    Fun game show

First off, I must say that this is a fun game show. Also, since I'm 24, I haven't seen every episode. However, I do know the show very well. Every time I've watched it, I've had a lot of fun playing along and watching. Despite the fact that it's finished its run, this makes me long to be a contestant. The thing I like most about it are the questions. Despite the fact that I can't think of an answer for every question, I still have fun playing along. I hope the Game Show Network keeps it on so I can play along and watch again. If that happens, I will be really happy. Before I wrap this up, I'd like to say that I'll always remember this show in my memory forever. Now, in conclusion, I hope that you catch it one day before it goes off the air for good.

An even more star-studded, big-money Match Game!

In this nightime version of the Match Game, Gene Rayburn and panelists seemed to dress more formal. Fannie Flagg no longer wore her infamous t-shirts with "Danger-Curves Ahead" on them. Brett Somers and Charles Nelson Reilly converted from their usual attire and changed into suits and dresses, (you decided what CNR was wearing).

Some questions were new, but also some came from older versions of the Match Game. Also, two audience matches were given with a jackpot of 20,000 dollars if a contestant landed on a double space.

Overall, this show was an excellent version, probably the best, except for the absence of Dicky Dawson.
