    • Trivia
This is the film version of the hit London play, "It's a Two Foot Six Inches Above The Ground World", by Kevin Laffan. It was filmed and press-shown under that title and was advertised as such when it was due for its London launch. It was reviewed widely under that title (mostly unfavorably) and there were many posters for it on London buses and in the Underground, as well as newspaper advertising. But then, at the last minute, the title was changed to "The Love Ban", which meant nothing, and consequently the film did poorly at the box office. It was later shown on television under its original title.
