      Enjoy this one.

Loved the movie! Excellent soundtrack. The acting is not as overly dramatic as in many other Indian films I've seen and thus is very enjoyable.

Curiously, some of the western music brought back memories of Keith Moon & the Who! There was even an Abba track in the movie!! Mohd. Rafi and Asha Bhonsle's singing is awesome. The story/acting/music does a nice job with pulling the emotional strings. Did I mention I loved this movie?!

      Nasir Hussain's Musical Juggernaut!

Hum Kisise Kum Naheen (1977) : Brief Review -

Nasir Hussain's Musical Juggernaut! Let's forget the formulaic story and masala elements of Nasir Hussain movies and talk about the musical coup he always managed to get right, but with this one, it was a notch higher. All hit movies of Nasir Hussain have hit music, but I don't think anything can be better than this. Hum Kisise Kum Naheen is a musical juggernaut! The musical duel scene is one of the major highlights of the scene, and not a single soul on earth can dislike that. We have had musical duel scenes before in Hindi cinema, right from Tansen, Baiju Bawra, to Barsaat Ki Raat, but the kind of mass appeal Hum Kisise Kum Naheen's musical duel scene has is something else. Rishi Kapoor vs. Tariq Khan + Kaajal Kiran. It's a great fusion of Indian music, melody, club numbers, and Western music. Hussain presents it as a musical competition, but the way Kaajal and Tariq's characters are battling out with their anger and jealousy is what makes it different. You'll love that. Not just that scene and those songs, but the entire music album by RD Burman is phenomenal. It's one of the best of the 70s and probably of all time. The plot is decent-nothing great but entertaining. The screenplay is busy and is made extra engaging with the songs that take the situations forward. The character of Kajal is a bit messy, though. So quickly she changed her love interest as if it were like changing clothes. That didn't really suit the social image of any Indian girl from the 1970s. Rishi Kapoor is fabulous, Tariq Khan is good, and Kaajal Kiran looks gorgeous. Zeenat Aman has a cute cameo, and Amjad Khan makes a fine villain despite the low screen space. As a whole, this may be a typical Nasir Hussain masala flick, but the musical juggernaut it creates is simply unforgettable.

      Great Watch

      Review By Kamal K

The title itself is attractive, meaning thereby that we are not less than anybody. Every song is melodious. Added to that, is the music and the performance by actors and actresses. The dancing sequences are very good. By seeing the movie, one will forget this world and enjoy it to the utmost satisfaction of him or her. Even though 4 decades have passed, still, it has its own popularity. An enjoyable movie to be viewed by all members in a family. It will induce anyone who has witnessed it, to view again and again.

      A true Bollywood classic

Nassir hussain does it again with lots of massala in a similar vein to his previous film yaadon ki baraat. Lots of exciting action and a soundtrack to die for. RD burman comes out tops once again and this film features my all time favourites "chand mera dil" & "kya huwaa mera vada" A truly entertaining film full of pure undiluted bollywood!
