    An excellent movie

This is an excellent movie showing the harsh realities of life. The movie on the whole belongs to Ashok Kumar, who gives an excellent performance in the role of a father whose children leave him when hard time comes.Sunil Dutt gives a bravo performance in the role of an adopted son who stands by his father when his real children leave him. This really shows his versatility.Nutan also gives a good performance in the role of Sunil Dutt's wife. However the reason why it cannot be given 10 is its music, which is not appealing at all.As far as storyline and direction is concerned, one cannot find any flaw in the movie.
