Danny Denzongpa had signed the film and sung a song in his own voice. That is when Johnny Walker walked into producer Atma Ram's office and demanded a role in the film . Johhny Walker and Atma Ram were best friends. Atma Ram then gave Danny's role to Johnny Walker and gave Danny another role in the film . The song sung by Danny was now to be picturized on Johnny Walker. Danny was to start shooting for his new role when he was told they replaced him with a much more known Sujit Kumar. This disappointed Danny but he understood as a newcomer these games were played.
