Cult classic

Very emotional and well scripted movie shooted in beautiful Manali and Kullu. It's story of a dacoit who have nourished the girl of a rich businessman after looting him. Balraj sahni has done brilliant acting along with Hema malini and Rakesh roshan. Songs are everlasting like "aaj unse pehli mulaqat hogi" , Dil hai mera dil, holi re holi and tera mera juda hona muskil hai. IT was a hit movie in 1971 and was top grosser of that year. Very beautifully executed movie. You will be overwhelmed by seeing the natural beauty of Manali, which was very beautiful than today's time. Shooting along vyas river will give you good feeling. Must watch movie available on Zee 5.

Aaj Unse Pehli Mulaqat Hogi from Paraya Dhan .R.D. Burman had used the tune of this song earlier for a background music theme he had scored for the film "Pyar Ka Mausam" (1969). The theme music had Hariprasad Chaurasia playing the flute and Shivkumar Sharma playing the santoor and was used in a picnic scene featuring Shashi Kapoor and Asha Parekh.
