      A love hexagon

Robert Lamoureux directed seven movies, each one lousier than the one before ;as an actor ,he was at his best when a true director was on hand (jacques Becker for "Arsene Lupin"for instance) Left to his own devices ,he hams it up and it's almost unbearable : this part of the man with four lovers ,one of whom has husband who seeks revenge is completely cardboard ;Françoise Fabian is not at ease in the comedy field . The only one who does not overact is the excellent Jean -Pierre Marielle whose scenes save something from the wreckage .
