Numerous sources, including the IMDb erroneously claim that this film is black & white, but having personally seen it on television several years ago I can personally attest that's in colour, probably to compensate for its poverty row production values, studio sets and reliance upon stock footage.
Historically notable as Anne Sheridan's final film before she succumbed at the age of 52 to cancer (she smoked like a chimney as is all too apparent here) as the bone of contention between two male rivals her gaunt appearance prompts a profound sense of melancholy when one recalls charming and good-humoured she was in her prime.

Love triangle mixed with adventure. Jilted gold digger (Sheridan) and embittered safari guide (Farrar) take spoiled rich kid (Loder) on hunting trip that turns from big game hunt to manhunt. Low budget affair filled with stock footage to simulate safari. Reflecting the mid 1950's, the African hunting guides areportrayed as competent and not as cartoonish.
Ann Sheridan looks somewhat haggard for her age and overly made up for a gal on safari. For Sheridan fans it's a mere 11 years on from the sultry Nora Prentiss. According to Wikipedia she is reported as saying the movie should have been lost in Kenya. She deserved a better final movie appearance than this.
