      Stunning

Is it true animation? Some would say no. It is a montage of still shots as the dreams of an astronaut, ready to embark on the first trip to the moon are revealed. Realizing that Ray Bradbury had a hand in this, the prose is lovely and uplifting. James Whitmore does a superb job of using the man's reverie. And it is a dream. He imagines his plain name is not adequate for the amazing event. So he dreams three characters of flight. Icarus, who flew with wings of wax; the Montgolfier Brothers and their balloons; and the Wright Brothers and heavier than air flight.
