Can't sleep without Stalin on the wall!

Lively comedy by Steno with Fulci, and Laurenti. From the Russian campaign Toto returns home after 15 years but finds his wife (the voluptuous Nadia Gray of Dolce vita fame) remarried with Peppino. Clearly a story, inspired by post war chronicles, that Pirandello would have liked and that in the hands of Totò and Peppino becomes a wild often surreal farce. The exchanges between Totò and Peppino guarantee plenty of laughter, although the script leaves too much to chance. Maybe the central part is a bit 'slow, but the ending rushed buy overall Steno keeps the right measure in directing. A really funny movie that definitely deserves to be seen.
