Naive but good

Frank Mc Donald was a prolific B director during the thirties, forties and fifties and only those latest are really worth. This western, for instance, is unusual, surprising because it only focuses, or rather mainly shows the indian side, instead the White men. It is a bit naive, destined to light minded audiences. It is not as powerful as DEVIL'S DOORWAY or BROKEN ARROW. But if you crave for B movies, rare ones, it remains worth the ride. The only thing is to be a western hard boiled buff. It is a very short film, easy to watch and also easy to forget too. There were hundreds of this one before TV industry replaces them.

routine western told from the Indian's point of view

routine, low-budget western as told from the Indians point of view;but even the Indians are suspect, dessed in poor costumes, saddled horses, and Brooklyn accents! Notable only because producer Lippert filmed with the then 'state-of-the-art "garutsa" lens' that allowed for a limited 3D effect. Not worth staying up late for this one.
