Mireya leads a light life and becomes a gambler's mistress

Film made by Manuel Romero. It is a kind of revival of his former "Los Muchachos De Antes no Usaban Gomina" shot in 1937. More than a decade had passed; a character that was a myth of the time: Mireya along with the correspondent environment: music, places and the city of Bs.As as context. To assure a successful result, he counted with a cast which did their best to fulfill the expectations of the audience: Mecha Ortiz, Fernando Lamas, who a short time after wards would reach the stardom in the U.S., Elena Lucena, Severo Fernandez both of them proved to be solid comedy actors playing supporting parts. Mecha Ortiz was emotionally balanced playing the main character (Mireya). Introducing a young and beautiful Analia Gade as Mireya's daughter. The setting by Jorge Beghe rebuilt Paris, Buenos Aires and Hansen, a place where people of the time used to go to dance tango and also to fight. . .Well photographed by Antonio Merayo. The score by R. Schiamarela, Manuel Pizarro orchestra and the tango singer Antonio Maida.
