Lots Of Thrills In High Places

The movie starts with Richard. Denning avoiding the cops. He ducks into a church, then up on the steeple, where Will Wright is doing some work. Wright hires Denning as an apprentice steeplejack. The benefits include Wright's pretty daughter, Trudy Marshall, even though. Wright's other employee, James Milicam picks a fight or two, insisting he's going to marry her.

It's another movie from the Dollar Bills, so we can assume that everything will turn out well for Denning. In the meantime, there's the matter of clearing his name -- which is done pretty easily, but it's only a 60-minute movie -- and some good thrills as people deal with falling form heights, and a plane striking a radio tower.

The Dollar Bills used old, proven plots, actors who were cheap but highly competent, and never turned out a movie that lost money. Miss Marshall was a case in point. The story is that her career fribbled away when she spurned Howard Hughes to date and marry her second husband. The marriage lasted until his death in 1981, and Miss Marshall passed away in 2004 at the age of 84.

    • Trivia
The failure of the original copyright holder to renew the film's copyright resulted in it falling into public domain, meaning that virtually anyone could duplicate and sell a VHS/DVD copy of the film. Therefore, many of the versions of this film available on the market are either severely (and usually badly) edited and/or of extremely poor quality, having been duped from second- or third-generation (or more) copies of the film.
