    Not lost

The Dutch version is not lost. I have a fully complete, English-subtitled dvd, Niet Tevergeefs, which I will share. The Dutch cast is different from the UK version, which is reported by the BFI as lost. Despite a lot of religiosity, the film is an interesting domestic WW. 2 drama, based on a play and shot well after the war ended. I have no idea as to the origin of this dvd. E T Greville is an interesting French/ English director with a fine filmography. I have no idea how this film got to be made although it is based on fact and contains a speech by Queen. It has a strong proJewish component.
