The original recorded running time is 102 minutes. The film's premiere had a running time of 86 minutes, with some scenes and stop freeze ironic comments edited out, to reduce the ironic approach the director wanted. After a legal battle, the director completed a re-cut, 89 minute version that is the official copy standing at the Cineteca Nazionale, Italy (2010-03-17).
