    Daffy's Joyride is Our Joyride.

I really love this cartoon from start to finish, and not actually having any racially insensitive Portrayal of Mexicans, yay! (Well maybe except for the Accents and everyone wearing sombreros). So yeah, this is a cool cartoon, and Almost feels like Daffy is in bugs's role. Definitely underrated. The jokes in this one are also top-notch, and definitely feels like the artists and Animators working on this cartoon were having a great time coming up with the laugh-out-loud story, Daffy has some great lines here, and I'd never think in a million years I'd see daffy being chased in a stadium by a up-standing Savage bull with Firearms. I'll take it!

Some of the Animation scenes (probably should see for yourself) Are actually quite unique in terms the way they are shot, like daffy's driving up in the car at the Beginning. Great stuff.

    10/10.

quite funny, even if it stereotypes Mexico

"Mexican Joyride" might make us cringe a little nowadays, as it portrays our southern neighbor as the land of sombreros, senoritas, etc. Obviously, in 1947, political correctness wasn't really on most people's minds, and most Americans were probably unfamiliar with magical realism or other things that have more accurately characterized Mexico over the years. But otherwise, it's pretty funny, with Daffy Duck attending a bullfight and heckling the bull, thereby incurring the toro's wrath and having to become the matador. Some of what Daffy does to the big guy will probably give you some belly laughs. All in all, a pretty neat cartoon.

I liked this one a lot!

The story is a little routine, and it is perhaps two minutes too short. But this is a very enjoyable cartoon, that I wasn't expecting to be as enjoyable as it was. When I thought of Looney Tunes in Mexico, I immediately thought of Speedy Gonzales, which in general meant cheap animation, uninspired material and bad music(with one or two exceptions). Wasn't I surprised? The animation is nicely done, it is not the very best looking, but it is nowhere near as cheap as I thought it would be, and the music with La Cucaracha had some Mexican flavour to it and didn't feel annoying. The pace is fast, the gags are plentiful(any scene with Daffy and the bull is worth a number of laughs) and the dialogue is actually funny. Plus Mel Blanc's voices are distinctive and lots of fun. Overall, very good not outstanding but a hell of a lot better than I thought it would be. 8/10 Bethany Cox

    Hy-larious Cartoon

This cartoon always makes me laugh out loud. One of the best from director Arthur Davis, the pace is frenetic and the gags are wacky, if not always surprising. Still, it is very well put together. If you prefer the screaming, manic Daffy to the later, anxious Daffy then this is the cartoon for you.
