      One of over 700 Paramount Productions, filmed between 1929 and 1949, which were sold to MCA/Universal in 1958 for television distribution, and have been owned and controlled by Universal ever since. Its initial television broadcasts took place in Seattle Monday 8 December 1958 on KIRO (Channel 7) and in Chicago Saturday 10 January 1959 on WBBM (Channel 2). It later aired in Johnstown on 28 November 1959 on WJAC (Channel 6), in Phoenix 25 March 1960 on KVAR (Channel 12), in San Francisco 7 April 1960 on KPIX (Channel 5), in Detroit 25 April 1960 on WJBK (Channel 2), and in Cincinnati 16 November 1960 on WKRC (Channel 12).
