    Not a Bad Little B

While her cab driver boyfriend played by Alan Baxter gets involved with the robbery of a fur joint, and goes to jail, our heroine played by Mary Carlisle becomes a star at the singing we have seen her practicing, and a rival criminal played by Jerome Cowan tries to move in on her. Cowan's secretary played by the striking Suzanne Kaaren becomes jealous and betrays her crooked boss . A good setup for a Republic B that keeps its interest for its little under an hour length. After Baxter and his jail colleague Eddie Accuff are released and get jobs as truck drivers, Acuff's pronunciation of Chopin when they are moving a supposed freight of pianos is worth waiting for. This was the next to last film of character actor Adrian Morris the brother of Chester Morris.
