    A horse and dog show

The animals take over from the humans in this low budget poverty row quickie. Jack Perrin both cowboy and member of the small town police force quits because the mounted force of which he's part of is being phased out by Chief Earl Dwire in Desert Justice.

No justice for the loyal equines especially his own favorite Starlight. Perrin goes out to his desert shack, but not before capturing a bank robber who fatally wounded a porter in a holdup.

What Perrin doesn't know is that is kid brother has broken out of reform school and drove the getaway car on the job. David Rankin the kid brother is in turn killed by the robbers. After that Perrin goes on a desert hunt for them.

What humans don't accomplish the animals will. Perrin doesn't do much, but the horse Starlight and the Rin Tin Tin like German Shepherd that belongs to Maryan Downing the Commissioner's daughter get the job done.

If you're an animal lover, especially a horse and dog lover Desert Justice is for you. Otherwise it's thin budget film with not too much else going for it.

Run of the mill horse opera

Creaky program western was a few nice twists, but is too antique to be enjoyable.

A horse cop on his last day in the saddle (horses are to be replaced by cars) stops a bank robbery, however the baddies get away. The cops brother is one of the crooks who takes his gang to the cops ranch to hide out. Needless to say the cop shows up and trouble ensues.

The opening "modern world" stuff is quite good but once it gives way to the horse opera stuff it becomes nothing you haven't seen before. Mercifully its only around 50 minutes so its not that bad. this would have played better with commercials since they might have put a bit of life into the proceedings
