    One helpless Mountie

Timber Terrors which in the true tradition of B films from poverty row studios has a title with nothing to do with the plot. This concerns a gang out in the Northwest Territory who rob a payroll and kill a Mountie. That means they're hunted forever and ever till they get their man.

John Preston plays Sgt. Morton of the Royal Mounted and he along with most of the rest of the cast can't act worth anything. But he does look good and too bad Timber Terrors was not in color in that Mountie costume.

He's also one helpless Mountie without his trusty dog Captain and King the Wonder Horse. Without them he would have lasted two reels. No wonder they get the billing they do.

The animals are the best performers here.
