    A *sort of* Hitchcock film

Hitchcock worked in the art department, and did this film's title cards, anyway.

A lobby card contained the text: "If ye have tears of laughter, prepare to shed them now!", "3 Live Ghosts, A George Fitzmaurice production", "A tale of three buddies who came home from war when the world had given them up for lost. WARNING! - This is no picture for folks with a sense of humor and a cracked lip!", along with caricatures of three men in black being chased by three white ghosts.

The lobby card used the numeral '3', while online sources (What few there are for this film) spell out the word 'Three'.

The production was shot in England in late 1921, and released in six reels (at 1763 metres) in the USA on 1 January 1922, then released in the UK, and Finland, on 30 March 1924.

A copy of the film is said to exist at Gosfilmofond (National Film Foundation of Russian Federation) in Moscow, Russia. If only they would restore it and release it in some fashion.
