    Fun With Tom

Tom Mix wanders up to Montana with his Indian sidekick Pat Chrisman. There's a yearly rodeo on, and Mix asks visiting Easterner Gloria Hope for a dance at the ball for every event he wins. Meanwhile, local bad man Sid Jordan decides to slip Mix a Mickey Finn so he'll win the the most events.

It's a loose-jointed and easy-going short feature for Mix, just the way his fans liked him. Purdy is mean, Miss Hope is pretty and a bit snobbish, but we expect that by the end of the movie, she'll take a shine to Tom. In the meantime, there's some riding and roping and other fun to keep folks amused. It's a fine little film under the direction of Lynne Reynolds, a western specialist for Fox, who shot himself at the age of 35.
