    • Trivia
Last film appearance of Margaret Shelby, sister of the notorious starlet Mary Miles Minter, whose career ended after her affair with director William Desmond Taylor became known after his 1922 murder, one of Hollywood's most famous scandals, and a crime still unsolved to this day. Taylor was more than twice her age and the chief murder suspect was the mother of Mary and Margaret, Charlotte Shelby, although it could never be proven. Margaret's career was irreparably damaged by association, and she died in 1939 of chronic alcoholism at age 39. In 1937, Margaret had married actor Emmett J. Flynn but the marriage was annulled after three months, with Flynn dying only two months after that, also of chronic alcoholism.
