This short was one of seven lost Disney cartoons, until it turned up in the collection of a Japanese anime historian. Yasushi Watanabe, now 84, bought the film from a toy wholesaler in Osaka for the equivalent of $4.40 (USD), when he was a teenager.

Either there's a typo in the movie's opening title (the very movie shot used for this article), or the short is actually called "Neck 'n' Neeck".
