Alf brought a leopard back from Africa - Anyone know what to do with it?

Monsieur Babylas isn't quite as fond of animals as Madame Bablas, who feels it necessary to adopt every passing animal that she sees. When she brings a pig into the family home, hubby decides to get his revenge by releasing a leopard into their house.

This film isn't particularly funny, but is noticeable for the rough treatment handed out to the pig who appears in it. Not only is it dragged along by its ears in one scene, it's then chased around and pounced on by a leopard! I'm sure the RSPCA would have something to say if such methods were used today. The director Alfred Machin actually brought the leopard back from darkest Africa after shooting a series of travelogue films there for Pathe, and it went on to appear in a number of films (Machin himself was noted for his work in films with animals).

The film no doubt had some novelty value back in 1911, but the humour looks a little strained today.
