D.W. Griffith and O'Henry

Having read O'Henry's work, I was not impressed by his writing, nor was I enthusiastic enough about his themes to be influenced by him. The 34 year old D.W. Griffith's interpretation of his work in this short film does not add anything constructive to making O'Henry's work accessible.
