The Owen Davis play was first produced on Broadway by Oliver Morosco at the Lyceum Theatre. The production opened on November 28, 1916, and ran for 47 performances. The opening cast consisted of Adele Blood, Hobart Cavanaugh, Jack Ellis, John Flood, Joseph Kilgour, Helen Lowell, Edith Lyle, Burr McIntosh, Olive Oliver, Tom Powers and William Sampson.
