    • Trivia
The correct spelling of Faversham is Feversham, while the correct pronunciation of Feversham is Faversham. The silent versions, Four Feathers (1915), The Four Feathers (1921) and Quatre plumes blanches (1929), use the Faversham spelling in credits and screen captions, presumably so that the audience "hears" it right in their minds. Zoltan Korda's versions Les quatre plumes blanches (1939) and Les 4 plumes blanches (1955) also maintain the Faversham spelling. All versions since 1978 spell the name Feversham, as it is in the book.
