    • Trivia
This is one of about two dozen Klaw & Erlanger/Biograph Company co-productions filmed in 1913-1914; it was completed and copyrighted 23 July 1914. However, there is no reliable documentation it was shown publicly until it was re-copyrighted by Biograph 8 March 1916, cut from four reels to three reels, and released 16 March 1916. The reason for the delay may have been some kind of legal complications that arose from the fact that the original play, with May Robson in the title role, was still touring nationally until November 1915.
    • Alternate versions
Cut to three reels and re-issued by Biograph on 15 March 1916.
