Might blind you and therefore fool you to believe that this is better than nothing, and she does save the glory of an ever so daft and slow thriller flick, that only the boldest narcississt would call a horror movie.
Its not an a, nor a b, definately a c-movie, its low budget, small cast, wannabe warewolf horror feature where everything is shroudded in indian tribe mystique, where the culprit is there all the time, just to outwrench you in the end with a mitochondrial fluxed twist . I didnt see it even though i saw it, cause blood is thicker than blood, isnt it?
Well there are some murders, not the blooody gore you may expect, the monster costume pretty nice, but special effects are nearly completely absent and where they are present ,they are so primitive and of the homemade stuff. Loads of empty dialouges and trytobe-acting makes a game of hangman in the classroom become a better pillia erector thriller than this. When watching i got wibes of the past, just imagine how they made horror movies in the early 1920's silent movies era
the grumpy old man gives a weak 3, you can let this one slip away easily, try a wolverine next time!!!

When I sat down in 2022 to watch the 2021 horror movie "The Hunting" from writers Mark Andrew Hamer, Heather Ryan and Terrance Ryan, I have to admit that I was lured in by the movie's cover/poster, and the promise of this being a werewolf movie. I will say that the movie's cover was really, really nice, so I had some expectations to "The Hunting", despite never having heard about it. And there is that saying "don't judge a book by its cover".
The same saying applies to movies apparently, because I was expecting a properly entertaining movie from director Mark Andrew Hamer with his 2021 movie "The Hunting". But I was handed a very monotonous and boring movie that offered almost nothing in terms of entertaining. In fact, I was wondering if the movie's title was a reference to the fact that perhaps the director was hunting for a proper script and storyline here.
Take heed, because "The Hunting" is by no means a good movie. Not unless you consider sitting through an endless tirade of dialogue and virtually nothing happening to justify this as a werewolf movie. I managed to suffer through about an hour of the ordeal that is "The Hunting", then I gave up out of pure and utter boredom. This movie was a massive swing and a miss.
The acting performances in the movie were adequate, especially when taking into consideration that the storyline and script gave the actors and actresses nothing to work with. I wasn't familiar with the cast in "The Hunting", and that is actually something I enjoy when watching movies. But the actors and actresses that partook in the making of this movie never got off to a running start.
Visually then "The Hunting" was mundane too. There was nothing grand to be seen here. At least not in the one hour of torment I suffered through.
Don't waste your time, money or effort on this movie. If you enjoy werewolf movies there are better choices out there. Granted, the majority of movies in the werewolf genre are dubious, but there are movies worth watching out there. Sadly, then "The Hunting" just wasn't one of them.
I am rating "The Hunting" a three out of ten stars.

Acting - terrible
Script- terrible
Soundtrack - terrible
Plot - unengaging and predictable
SFX - laughable.
Overall zero redeeming features to this movie whatsoever.
I accidentally clicked 2 stars and it won't let me change it down :(

This is literally the worst movie I've seen the last 15-20 years. It's laughable. There's absolutely nothing good about this movie. It's a minus 1 out of 10.
This was worse than a B rated movie. The acting was horrible. This reminded me of the quality of the original "Last house on the Left" or a 1960's porno.
