Started out as a big murder mystery, "What are the cars going to tell us" they say. Well by the end of it we couldn't even tell what direction the cars went into the water. Oh, and one theory was that they tried to push start one of the cars and they went too far and went into the lake... A WOMANS HEAD WAS IN THE TRUNK! IVE PUSH STARTED A CAR, THERE IS NO DECAPITATING FORCE INVOLVED!
Can you tell these story's in 5 minutes, yeah, same as your favorite movie tho. It's the details and history that is told around the story's that make it interesting. I watch it on the Motortrend app and there are no commercials or recaps. My wife watches a ton of crime TV, I feel this is along the same idea of production, but with cars, so it's better, lol.
*We watch it together and really enjoy the entire story being told, we are in our mid 30's and can handle a story without pulling out our phones to check social media, ;-P

Sad...this should have been a very good show! Get two episodes in and you will fast forward through the same commercials for the entire hour episode. These are at best 20 min stories with 10 mins of commercials. Tons of filler time because the hosts are not good enough and the production is good, but not to fill the extra nothing. Total fail...if this was 30 minute episodes, it would be a success.
I just suffered through episode 4 of season 2, where two abysmally clueless (and annoying) beta males discuss the possibility that "dead man's curve" in LA was purposely designed to be dangerous/deadly....a 10 minute discussion that took a mind-numbing hour to accomplish. This has been their modus operandi from the beginning, but they have really screwed the pooch here.
Since there was pretty much nothing to begin with, the writers filled the segment with side stories about Jan & Dean, a short history of the Corvette , and interviews with assorted 'experts' regarding road design. This pile of crap (and all previous episodes) has been forever banished from my DVR - if I could only erase it from my memory as well.
Apparently, the new direction for all the channels affiliated with the Discovery Network have been engaged in a secret competition to lower the bar for 'educational' programming to simian levels (or if you prefer, the public schools).

I really like the concept of the show. They seem to find obscure stories about cars and tell them in an interesting almost mysterious way. The show keeps me guessing until the very end! I've waited every week for a new episode and watch it either live or the next day. Great job guys, keep up the good work. I can't wait to see what you show me next!
