These clowns are absolutely annoying. They take one point and then beat it to death while smiling at each other. The show had potential but it gets lost in their need to stroke each other's ego. How about they be succinct and stick to the story and facts? That would be a watchable show. As it is now...not so much.
Can you tell these story's in 5 minutes, yeah, same as your favorite movie tho. It's the details and history that is told around the story's that make it interesting. I watch it on the Motortrend app and there are no commercials or recaps. My wife watches a ton of crime TV, I feel this is along the same idea of production, but with cars, so it's better, lol.
*We watch it together and really enjoy the entire story being told, we are in our mid 30's and can handle a story without pulling out our phones to check social media, ;-P

What started out as a good idea, was completely flushed down the toilet with this show. I watched the first couple episodes, and was intrigued enough to set the DVR to record for the rest.
It just became worse and worse. The two host appear to talk for they're own pleasure, and encourage each to do so. The spectrum of dialogue between the two is vegetarian lasagna to dumb, and at certain times they just repeat the same observations over, and over, and over.
30 min of commercials, 20 min of repeating the same observation, 10 minutes of content.
The hosts appear to be such self indulgent weeny's, that u can't help to think that they are either related to someone to keep this show. Or, producing themselves .
I just suffered through episode 4 of season 2, where two abysmally clueless (and annoying) beta males discuss the possibility that "dead man's curve" in LA was purposely designed to be dangerous/deadly....a 10 minute discussion that took a mind-numbing hour to accomplish. This has been their modus operandi from the beginning, but they have really screwed the pooch here.
Since there was pretty much nothing to begin with, the writers filled the segment with side stories about Jan & Dean, a short history of the Corvette , and interviews with assorted 'experts' regarding road design. This pile of crap (and all previous episodes) has been forever banished from my DVR - if I could only erase it from my memory as well.
Apparently, the new direction for all the channels affiliated with the Discovery Network have been engaged in a secret competition to lower the bar for 'educational' programming to simian levels (or if you prefer, the public schools).

The first episode was entertaining enough to hook me into hitting the record button on my DVR. Its been down hill since....
Some episodes seemingly have no story, its just 2 guys saying "interestingly enough" for an episode. Ive drawn the line at this last episode, as the 2 host's stare at a wrecked car in the woods. That even from the viewers chair, you can see has been rotting for easily 30+ years. As they stare at it and one of them comments "I think this has been here for awhile. Cause brush has grown where it came through"......
The droning on of absolutely nothing gets so intense at some points. The two host's spend literally 1/2 the shows time saying things like ," rich people like cars and they like driving them fast",over and over and over. The worst part is they both seem very impressed with each other as they say it, "Thats right, sometimes rich people do buy expensive cars, and drive them fast".
