Trailer Park Boys: La série animée

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Star Adam Copeland Offers a Sneak Peek of His Ares Role
Image
Adam Copeland, known as WWE's Edge, is making his debut as Ares in the Disney+ adaptation of Percy Jackson, aiming to rectify past disappointments. Copeland's dual career as a wrestler and actor fits his role as Ares well, as highlighted by Rick Riordan, the creator of Percy Jackson. The TV adaptation of Percy Jackson is family-friendly, with censored scary scenes, a substantial budget, and plans for a second season. It premieres on December 20.

Adam Copeland, known for his two-decade-long wrestling career in WWE as Edge, is set to make his debut as Ares, the Greek god of war, in the upcoming Disney+ adaptation of Percy Jackson and the Olympians. The series follows Percy Jackson as he faces accusations from Zeus, who believes Percy has stolen his lightning bolt. This adaptation aims to rectify the disappointment caused by previous movie adaptations in 2010 and 2013, which deviated significantly from the source material,...

‘The Breach’ VOD Review
Image
Stars: Allan Hawco, Emily Alatalo, Adam Kenneth Wilson, Wesley French, Natalie Brown, Mary Antonini, Alex Lifeson | Written by Nick Cutter, Ian Weir | Directed by Rodrigo Gudiño

The Breach, not to be confused with Breach, is the second feature from Rue Morgue founding editor Rodrigo Gudiño (The Last Will and Testament of Rosalind Leigh). Co-written by Nick Cutter and Ian Weir based on Cutter’s novel, its mix of haunted house and mad scientist themes attracted a lot of pre-release buzz which I was hoping it would live up to.

John Hawkins has one week left as sheriff of Lone Crow. Then he can put the town, and his ex Meg, behind him and start a new job in the city. That, of course, means something terrible has to happen before he can leave. And it does when a canoe bearing the mutilated remains of theoretical physicist Cole Parsons washes up at a local park.

10 Things You Didn't Know About Mike Smith, The Actor From Trailer Park Boys
Image
With his awkwardly hilarious demeanor and thick-lensed glasses, Bubbles has endured as the breakout character of Trailer Park Boys, and there are many interesting facts to know about his actor, Mike Smith. The character's uniquely passive-aggressive nature comes out in some of Bubbles’s most hilarious profanity-filled quotes. Indulging in one misadventure after the other with his friends Ricky and Julian, Bubbles has turned into a pop culture icon. With the character appearing in the Trailer Park Boys’ original run, its movies, and even spinoffs like the animated series, Bubbles has become synonymous with the mockumentary series, as has the actor who plays him.

When he’s not sporting Bubbles’s spectacles, Mike Smith is also known as one of the founders of the television network Swearnet, which spawned its own movie in 2014. Starting Swearnet with his Trailer Park Boys co-stars Robb Wells and John Paul Tremblay, Smith has established...

Everything New On Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu And Disney+ This Weekend
Image
With the long weekend upon us, there’s a good chance you’ll be looking for some new shows or movies to watch, especially if you’ll be sheltering-in-place. Thankfully, there’s a lot of fresh content coming to all your favorite streaming platforms, so we thought we’d provide a bit of a rundown on what you can watch this Memorial Day weekend.

Over on Netflix, the biggest addition comes in the form of The Lovebirds, a new comedy starring Kumail Nanjiani and Issa Rae as a couple who have been wrongfully accused of committing a murder. While it released to somewhat mixed reception, it’s certainly scoring much higher than The Wrong Missy, while also proving to be equally as popular with Netflix subscribers.

For those who like raunchier content, the second season of Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series debuted, while reality TV fans will want to check out Selling Sunset,...

Memorial Day Weekend Viewing Guide: Two Rare Live Sporting Events and a Virtual Parade (Photos)
Tom Brady
For obvious reasons, this Memorial Day weekend is going to be a bit different from previous years. But the good news is, you won’t have to experience Fomo for skipping out on the barbeque-and-beach days in order to stay inside and watch TV instead. That decision has been made for you. There will even be some live sports to watch, like a Nascar race and a socially-distanced golf match between Tom Brady, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Peyton Manning. So allow us to list out the best options for what to watch (or stream) on TV (or your laptop) this weekend.

Friday: “The Big Fib” on Disney+

This game show with kid contestants premieres Friday on Disney’s new streaming service. Hosted by Yvette Nicole Brown and featuring Rhys Darby as her robot sidekick, C.L.I.V.E., the kids must decide whether the information they’re being told is fact or fib.

Netflix Announces Over 90 New Movies/TV Shows For May
Michael J. Fox in Retour vers le futur (1985)
You’re probably stuck inside right now during the pandemic and pining for the days when you had a social life. Thankfully, Netflix is coming to the rescue in May with a really exciting lineup of hit movies and new shows.

It’ll be a great month for films, specifically. The incredibly popular 80s time-traveling pics Back to the Future and Back to the Future Part II will be joining the already-included third entry in the franchise, while those seeking some good laughs can check out the Jim Carrey-led comedies Fun with Dick and Jane and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.

Meanwhile, multiple entries in the Underworld series are dropping on the service for action-horror fans, whereas kids will be happy to hear that both Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the original Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory will be available right out of the gate.

Also, if you...

‘Big Mouth’ Renewed for Three More Seasons at Netflix
Netflix has picked up animated comedy “Big Mouth” for Seasons 4, 5, and 6, Variety has confirmed.

The renewal is part of a new multi-year deal the streamer has signed with newly-formed animation company Brutus Pink. The company is comprised of Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin and Jennifer Flackett, the team behind the series. Under the deal, Brutus Pink will produce animated series and films for Netflix.

“Netflix has given us the best creative experience imaginable, and we’ve been able to build an amazing community of talented writers, actors, producers and artists,” said Kroll, Goldberg, Levin, and Flackett in a joint statement. “We’re thrilled to be continuing with everyone for years to come.”

“Big Mouth” is inspired by Kroll and Goldberg’s childhood. It follows a group of friends and their hormone monsters as they navigate adolescence, human sexuality, and coming of age. Season 3 is set to debut on Netflix this fall.

"Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series" On Netflix
Sneak Peek new footage from "Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series" with 'Bubbles', Julian' and 'Ricky' turned into animated characters, voiced by actors Mike Smith, Robb Wells, and John Paul Tremblay, streaming exclusively on Netflix, March 31, 2019:

"...new episodes follow the events of live-action Season 12, that ended with the characters turning into cartoon characters, at first baffled, but choosing to make the best of the new cartoon world they live in. Unfortunately, they quickly learn the hard way that real world rules still apply to them..."
