The Lioness

It's rare for an indie film that has under 60 minutes of runtime to be able to craft an original plot with complex characters. This is genuinely a unique film for that reason alone. By the end of it, I was on the edge of my seat. The performances for some of the characters were excellent, while others were inconsistent. Luckily, the good actors had more of a presence, which lead to an immersive experience. I'm going to be following the director of this movie, because I feel like they have a lot of potential.

First keep in mind that this is a indie film with a low budget. There will be some issues with props, lighting, and sound.

So I was skeptical going into this movie, but it was pretty good! The time flew by and kept me engaged and entertained. The main character breaks the forth wall several times to talk to us (the audience) which I enjoyed, and is self aware that we are watching.

The movie has lots of twist and turns, backstabbing, and lying, which keeps the movie interesting and moving. With a total of 5 characters, they do an overall good job with the story and honestly leave you wanting more.

I would recommend!

If you're a fan of heist or chase movies this is gonna do you right. Surprisingly fantastic acting and production value. the suspense was wonderfully portrayed and could not have asked for a better ending or twist. Just all around fantastic for what it is. If I had to criticize or down on anything it's the camera work, which for the budget it appears these guys were working with is acceptable. Gonna have to check out more of these lads work.

This film was really innovative! I was really impressed with how they created the feel of a full storyline even with a small cast and minimal setting changes. I really think they did a great job creatively incorporating music as a storytelling mechanism to push the plot along - it definitely kept us intrigued and ready for what was next!

I found myself at the edge of my seat. Good plot development and interesting and well played characters along the way. Highly recommended
