Sorry but I cannot get emotional about a bunch of perfect people and their problems.
Good soundtrack!
If you didn't figure out who MVP was in less than five seconds stay in school.

I went in blind when watching this, and was pleasantly surprised. I liked this one more than the first one because it is more mature than and deals with challenges of a coming of age story would represent. I know it's based off of book two by Beth Reekles, but I haven't read either one.
It was decent paced movie despite adding new characters and situations to the tally, all the while still maintaining the spirit of the first one. The way this one concludes, the rest of the storyline will be picked up in the next installment.
I say give it a shot.

2 ⭐'s
The first one was cute because Joey and Jacob were in love on camera so the movie was kind of magical.
This one was so bad. They were so awkward around each other, even 'by the phone', it was hard to watch. Their interactions were just too cringy and uncomfortable.
The plot was meh. The love triangle or square was done horribly.
The 2 ⭐'s were for Joey and Joel, they were awesome together. They should have gone to that direction a.k.a. best friends to lovers. It would have been much nicer.

The first Kissing Booth was enjoyable to watch and had a clear plot even if it was cheesy. I feel that the second film cannot quite for this description. The plot of the film is very weak and the writing could have been better. Some voiceover was just reiterating points we already got from the visual aspects and already developed concepts. When it comes to the characters you don't see any development in them at all. Other than that It was nice to see a gay couple in the film, however there was no real backstory or real story line to the characters. They felt like a quick add in to the film to make Netflix more inclusive. The acting was often sub par at best and quite a few of outdoor shots especially could have been much better in exposure and more. I also found the soundtrack to be lacking and some covers were not pleasing! I was expecting the film to not be amazing but I was disappointed. The film feels like people liked the first one so they just threw out a sequel.
It was like they put together every cliche trope from every rom com into one. A lot of it wasn't realistic to their age group and the actors they casted definitely looked older than they were supposed to. It was way worse than the first one.
