Schools Spirits is making waves on Paramount+. A day after its Season 2 finale was released, the supernatural drama series managed to land in the streamer's Top 10 TV Shows list.

According to FlixPatrol, School Spirits is currently ranked No. 5 on Paramount+'s Top 10 TV Shows list for Mar. 7. However, the series is currently at No. 1 on the Top 10 Overall for Amazon Channels, a massive +8 jump from the previous day and perhaps a far more impressive feat. Created by Megan and Nate Trinrud, School Spirits first premiered on Paramount+ in March 2023, while the second season launched this past January. Despite the almost two-year gap between seasons, the supernatural show was seemingly worth the wait, given that it has managed to remain in Paramount+'s Top 10 ranking throughout the release of its second season.

Ratings for “Dancing With the Stars” continued to climb with last week’s Disney night, which saw a 24% increase from last year’s episode, TheWrap can reveal exclusively.

As the remaining couples performed Disney-themed duets for the ballroom dancing competition series, Disney night brought in a 0.72 rating in the key broadcast demo among adults 18-49, according to Nielsen-live-plus-same-day viewers. That’s up 24% from last year’s Disney night, which scored a rating of 0.58.

Ratings for this year’s Disney night were also up 7% when compared to the previous week, which saw a 0.67 rating, marking the third week of growth in a row.

Disney night also scored a record-breaking number of fan votes with over 16 million. Total viewership also saw a solid uptick for Disney night, which brought in 4.85 million viewers,...

The theme nights for Season 33 of Dancing With the Stars have been some of the best yet. There was Oscars night, Hair Metal night, and an incredibly touching Dedication night. That night, the Bachelor's Joey Graziadei dedicated his dance to his fiance Kelsey Anderson. It was so heartfelt, despite the nasty rumors surrounding their relationship.

In Week 6, couples got to dress up as beloved characters from Disney movies for Disney night. There was Joey donning a wig as Tarzan, Stephen Nedoroscik getting a spray tan to look more like Hercules, and The Bachelorette's Jenn Tran rocking a red wig to fully embrace her Ariel role.

However, one pair's Disney night look really took it to the extreme. Ilona Maher and her pro Alan Bersten, were inspired by the film Encanto, and the pro dancer took it a step further with his costume. In fact, it left fans having nightmares.

Disney Night never disappoints on “Dancing With the Stars.” During the Oct. 22 episode, the duos pushed for the first 10 of the season — especially after two pairs tied at the top of the leaderboards last week with all 9s.

During Dedication Week, Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson’s Viennese waltz and Danny Amendola and Witney Carson’s Contemporary routine both earned scores of 27/30. For Disney week, both wanted to fight for the first 10 of the season.

Unfortunately, Joey and Jenna’s Samba to “Trashin’ the Camp” from “Tarzan” came up short, earning a 25/30. Danny and Witney, meanwhile, performed a very powerful Jazz routine to “Bye Bye Bye” from “Deadpool & Wolverine,” but still only managed three 9s.

A “Deadpool & Wolverine”-inspired dance routine that copied the key fight scene from the hit superhero movie stole the show on Tuesday night’s “Dancing With the Stars,” all set to Nsync’s “Bye Bye Bye.”

NFL star Danny Amendola and par Witney Carson performed the energetic Jazz routine dressed, as, respectively the red-suited Deadpool and yellow-clad Wolverine. Judge Derek Hough called it “martial arts with the stars” and predicted the number would be a viral hit. The action-packed routine earned three 9s for a score of 27.

The remaining eight couples paid tribute to iconic Disney characters, including Ariel, Hercules, Tarzan and Cruella de Vil. Week 6 also brought the first group dances of the season, set to songs from “The Goofy Movie” and “The Lion King.”

Spooky season is almost here, and so is Freeform's 31 Nights of Halloween. On Aug. 31, the network unveiled its 2023 lineup of Halloween classics, consisting of spellbinding favorites like "Halloweentown," "Hocus Pocus," "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas," and the 2003 version of "The Haunted Mansion," just in time for its 20th anniversary.

Twilight fans will also be delighted to see all five movies from the beloved vampire-wolf franchise on Freeform's lineup, but that's not the only series featured. Kisilevsky, who becomes EVP, Live Action Family, Kids and Young Adult at the Candle Media-backed company, joins from Disney, where she has been SVP, Original Movies, Disney Branded Television.

She previously worked with the Your Place Or Mine star at Type A Films, which was one of Witherspoon’s production precursors to Hello Sunshine.

Reporting to Hello Sunshine CEO Sarah Harden, Kisilevsky will be in charge of building out the division and developing and producing family, kids and young adult live-action movies and series.

Get ready, “Pretty Little Liars” fans. The upcoming reboot of the teen mystery-drama from the creators of “Riverdale” and “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” has cast its new generation of “little liars.”

On Friday, Warner Bros Television announced that Chandler Kinney and Maia Reficco have signed on to top-line “Pretty Liars: Original Sin.” Lisa Soper, who recently directed an episode of “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” for Netflix, is also attached to direct the show’s first two episodes.

Kinney most recently starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie “Zombies 2” and could previously be seen on episodes of Fox’s “Lethal Weapon” series, “American Horror Story: Asylum,” and “Girl Meets World.”

Maia Reficco is currently shooting the Netflix feature “Strangers,” opposite Camila Mendes and Maya Hawke.

The revamped series will exist in the same universe as the hit Freeform show but focus on a new cast of characters in a new town.

Kisilevsky, who was previously VP, Original Movies, Disney Channels, becomes SVP, Original Movies, Disney Branded Television.

She will develop and oversee production of a slate of movies for Disney Channel and Disney+. It comes after the company launched the Disney Branded Television unit led by Gary Marsh.

Kisilevsky will report to Ayo Davis, EVP, Creative Development and Strategy, Disney Branded Television.

Zed and Addison, your basic star-crossed zombie/cheerleader high school couple, are coming back for more. Disney Channel has greenlighted Zombies 3, the second sequel in the popular movie franchise, with Milo Manheim and Meg Donnelly reprising their lead roles.

Following 2018’s Zombies and last year’s sequel, Zombies 3 will take an interstellar turn. Zed (Manheim) and Addison (Donnelly) are beginning their final year at Seabrook High in the town that’s become a safe haven for monsters and humans alike. Zed is anticipating an athletic scholarship that will make him the first Zombie to attend college, while Addison is gearing up for Seabrook’s first international cheer-off competition. It’s Friday, and you know what that means, Disney lovers? Yes, Disney Plus has just added its weekly haul of new content. This time, there are 17 fresh titles going up on the site. These include a couple of major blockbusters, a batch of new TV episodes, a lot of National Geographic docu-series and a D+ original movie.

The latest original to land on the streaming service is Magic Camp, starring Adam DeVine as a down-on-his-luck magician who takes a job as a counsellor at a magic camp and finds that the misfit kids there help him rediscover his love of magic. The synopsis calls it “a heartwarming comedy about finding joy and confidence in self-acceptance,” and Jeffrey Tambor and Gillian Jacobs also feature.

Meanwhile, Disney Channel sequel Zombies 2 has been added to the site, Muppets Now reaches its third episode and nature fans have the likes of India’s Wild Leopards,...

Disney+ is out with its list of every new title coming in August.

Highlights include new episodes of “Muppets Now,” and “Howard,” a movie about the untold story of Howard Ashman, the lyricist behind Disney classics like “Aladdin,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Little Mermaid” and creator of musicals including “Little Shop of Horrors.”

Fun library titles being added to the streaming service include “The Peanuts Movie,” “X-Men,” and “Ant-Man and the Wasp.”

Other Disney+ Originals include episodes of “Weird But True” and “Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe.”

In the new pandemic era of streaming entertainment, Disney+ has seemingly built up its own strategy. Every summer month has thus far been highlighted by one major movie and then complemented with the typical Disney content.

For August 2020, the big original movie of the hour is Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe. This will be the second Phineas and Ferb movie and the first to make its premiere via streaming. The film premieres on August 28 and finds the Phineas and Ferb gang back together again as they set out across the galaxy to rescue Candace.

Two other Disney+ originals of note this month are Howard (Aug. 7)and The One and Only Ivan (Aug. 14). Howard is a documentary about Howard Ashman, the unheralded lyricist behind Disney classics like Aladdin and The Little Mermaid. The One and Only Ivan is a film based on the book of the same...

We’ve still got lots to come over the next couple of weeks left in July, but let’s skip ahead to August and take a look at what’s new on Disney Plus next month. The Mouse House’s streaming service is currently in the middle of its Summer Movie Nights schedule, and that’s set to continue throughout August, too, bringing a bunch of major titles to the site’s library. Elsewhere, the month will see various documentaries and the latest episodes of D+’s ongoing series.

The cast of Zombies 2 are channeling their inner Wildcats for the Disney Channel Summer Sing-Along. Ahead of the special on July 10, Popsugar has an exclusive look at the opening number, "What Time Is It?" from High School Musical 2. Nickelodeon and Disney Channel are doing their part to help kids during the Covid-19 crisis.

Nickelodeon will air #KidsTogether: The Nickelodeon Town Hall, an hour-long special offering a kids-eye view of life during the coronavirus pandemic. It will premiere Monday, March 30 at 7 Pm Et/Pt. The special will directly address kids’ questions and concerns, include tips and insights from medical experts on ways to be healthy, and give first-person accounts from kids and families around the country who are social distancing and making changes to their everyday lives and relationships.

Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim perform some epic numbers in Zombies 2, but just how well do they know other Disney Channel musicals? In honor of their new sequel, which premiered on Disney Channel on Feb. 14, we put the costars' knowledge to the test with a game of Dcom lyric trivia.

While they knew some songs, like "Fabulous" from High School Musical 2, right off the bat . . .

. . . others were a little harder to figure out. Manheim was particuarly stumped by an iconic Jonas Brothers song from Camp Rock.

Traditionally spooky creatures like zombies and werewolves get the Disney treatment in “Zombies 2,” the follow-up to the 2018 hit TV-movie musical of the same name. While the undead have now assimilated into the community of Seabrook, they’re confronted by a new set of outsiders: werewolves. Milo Manheim and Meg Donnelly return as Zed and Addison, respectively, in the Disney Channel and DisneyNow sequel.

Makeup department head Julia Valente and costume designer Trysha Bakker were tasked with crafting characters that blend kid-friendly Disney styling with creepy creature looks. The teams took six weeks of prep to come up with the right balance. Discussion about the amount of fur, facial prosthetics and even nail length were all important as the department heads determined how far they could go before the creatures became too scary for the audience.

Disney Channel's original movie musical Zombies is coming back for a sequel, and this time, there's a new supernatural group in town.
