Award winning Director Lalith Ratnayake's use of silence to emphasise the emotions of the main characters is noteworthy, though seen as being sluggish at times. Clever use of a touching folk poem that Ruwansiri learns from his ailing grandfather is exceptional. Vishama Bhaga is a beautifully shot quality film that can be ranked high as a work of collective talent and creativity in all aspects of film making that we have seen in recent years.

I did enjoy it for sure and hope to see movies from this director in the future. I think this movie is a turning point in srilankan film industry.

One of the best very artistic, heart touching movie produced in SriLanka. Visuals are pleasing to watch. Catchy rural story written and directed by very creatuve upcoming producer Lalith Rathnayake. It is about the tragedic rural life and living condition of two different Srilankan students whose whole nigbour hood threaten by and very very dangerous kidney decies (which is still in North Central province, coused by polluted drinking water by furtilizers) and by unfriendly education system at schools. Starring young twin actor brothers have done a good joband they are really talented.

This is a must watch movie for all.
