I expected a halfway decent, clean comedy but was pleasantly surprised at how well done this movie really was.
The movie takes a light-hearted look at a subject that nearly all of our lives involve and some of our lives revolve around - money. The way it does so though is superb.
Really enjoyed the acting and thought the leads playing the teen roles conveyed all of the awkwardness of teen years very well. Great blend of enthusiasm, blunders, etc. The movie tiptoed into teenage roll-the-eyes humor, but it wasn't overdone, was clean and our laughter was genuine. One or two periphery characters seemed a tad exaggerated until I considered some real life people I know in such circumstances and considered that they really weren't too over-the-top after all.
It is very rare to find a movie that takes a light, humorous approach but manages to do so while maintaining a solid base and thought-provoking message. It is even rarer to find a movie with a surprise twist that you don't see coming. I generally do not re-watch movies but put this on my list to re-watch and enjoyed it just as much the second go-round.
I watched with all adults and we thoroughly enjoyed it. For parents hyper concerned about violent acts and screening for same, there is a single scene with a punch thrown but in no way glorifies violence. Very positive messages throughout. I think it would be perfect to watch with kids/teens.

I saw a couple angry reviews, which I don't really understand. So I will preface this by saying that I am not related to, or friends with anyone connected to this film.
This movie has a great underlying message. The movie is funny and it kept my attention. It is a family-friendly movie and it doesn't take the Lord's name in vain, so that's great!
Essentially, the main character gets his hand on a winning lottery ticket, but unfortunately he lets money change his outlook on life.

It wasn't as abysmal as another review that was written about it suggests. Casting was ok, acting was mediocre but the storyline was saturated with god squad BS. There is a twist at the end which completely negates the whole storyline. The other bad review was correct in assuming that the first two reviews were probably family members. I watched it until the end so it wasn't below 4 stars.
It's very rare that I can't predict the end of a movie. I was pleasantly surprised with this one. I started watching it, telling myself I would give it a few minutes...1 hour and forty something minutes later I reached the end of this very good movie. It was a GREAT movie and God spoke to me through it. Watched it again the next night with my wife and kids, my 7 year old daughter absolutely loved it, but so did my wife and the other kids. I highly recommend this movie!!!
We dumped all of our streaming services because of the increasing amount of crap and agendas being pushed out there. Our alternatives are few and admittedly PureFlix is kind of a weak alternative. Most of the movies are cheesy and low budget. This one is slightly low budget and the acting isn't top quality - and so I wasn't expecting much. However, the plot has multiple levels and even when I thought it was going a direction that would have left a TON of plot holes, it rescued itself. There are several situations that might pull on your heartstrings if you're not too calloused.
Admittedly this is for a Christian audience and so a lot of people might be annoyed by how clean it is and that there is a Biblical message - I for one find it to be a breath of fresh air when movies these days are plenty preachy with all kinds of other ideals.
I do wish the resolve of the plot went a little different but there is a twist in there I didn't see coming and that is worth a ton when one of my biggest complaints about PureFlix-type movies is there ridiculous predictability.
