No Ordinary Love

The subject matter is upsetting, but handled deftly by a director who I am going to keep my eye on. This is a well-written, well-acted indie drama that will stay with you. Highly recommended!

Ok. It actually angered me in many ways this movie... The male leads are real SOB's. Couldn't stand the pasture - or his father for that matter.

The acting really wasn't all that great. It actually reminded me of high school drama in places... especially the pastures wife during a certain scene. (I won't spoil it though).

I did feel for the female leads mostly - which I'm sure most viewers would agree given the topic of the film - and the male leads acted their roles well enough for me to hate their characters too, so I guess that's something...

I don't understand all the 10* reviews tbh. 5 at most from me but the message behind the film opens people's eyes to this sort of behaviour.

DeAna Davis really brings it! A powerful presence and huge heart.

Such a powerful feature. Acting is on point and the Cinematography is amazing. Can't wait til the world see's.

So I know people always think men like a particular kind of movie. This film doesn't fall into those stereotypical categories. My wife made me watch it with her. I didn't want to but happy wife, happy life, right? I watched it and I think 15 minutes or so into the movie, I was hooked and I stayed that way until the end. I did not see the ending coming. My wife said my math was open. I usually pick the movies, but this one earned her another pick.
