This is essentially a live podcast, but it's really endearing. If you've lost a bit of faith in humanity this may restore it. Love it or hate it, hearing this song will create a connection in your brain but what you may not know is how great the musicians and producers behind this song really are.
I watched this after it's early release and I don't want to mention a spoiler, but I watched it recently and something significant has been removed at the end. I do like the current ending, describing collective thought as jazz, amazing metaphor, but there was a bit removed after? Why? It really was amazing!
From narration, to interviews and various graphics are able to take what is an annoying tune into an interesting search for the origins of the song and, in a greater approach, how songs (or chants) can evolve into a tangled web. Done with good humor and introspection, even if you hate the song (like me) it was an entertaining and interesting journey.
This was great! A good format for behind the scenes type music footage. Very interesting and told in a very entertaining way. The story is magnetic and really draws you in to a subject that is silly at best. It is written so that the pacing is timed to always be fresh and funny but not ever seem manic or rushed or disorganized. A lot of music documentaries rely solely on the music itself to float the product but in this case the music is rather trivial so the story and storytelling itself are what stand out. Very well done. I will watch this again with friends. Great background video for a party too.

John Michael Davis: Sound is light concentrated, like a laser, we are concentrating light, and it is just moving around the planet in waves. It is surreal, the idea that one person can touch the lives of every person on the planet. You may not even know that you are doing it. You may not even know that you already done it.
