Kasala!

This movie is a standard for nollywood. You can notice that the young leads are new at acting, but their natural charisma and group dynamics provides the soul and humour of this effortless enterprise. Casting them was the success, but shooting in the background of the Lagos slums with characters in their natural element makes this a success. It's said this movie didn't have a wide release in Nigeria.

I was hoping to get the audience's reaction to see their neighborhoods portrayed so vividly, unlike the run of the mill eye candy offered by nollywood nowadays.

Don't even have the words to express the amount of joy and pleasure from watching Kasala!

THANK YOU cast and crew for making such a raw and pure film about the life of commoners in a clean, extremely humorous, and relatable way👊🏿👊🏿

DELICIOUS

-The raw and organic location sets really intensified the realism of the story 😃

The costume design was realistic, nothing extravagant

-An authentic narrative about everyday life elevated to higher heights. We could identify with the behaviors and aspirations of the four friends.

The flow of events was very understandable, climax adequately built, and ending spectacular. The comedy level reached to the sky, sincerely, we laughed till our heads hurt🤣

-Can we give it up to all the lead actors and supporting cast!!!! They deserve MORE than a clapping ovation. Such a down-to-earth and unforgettable performance

-In the midst of the pain, hustle, and bickering, the story illustrated the power of friendship which is something we seldom see nowadays

BLAND

-The weak color grading was quite pronounced. The uncontrolled lighting distracted a little from the story

-Some of the camera lenses used (e.g. Fisheye) were not appropriate for the scenes.
