Chapter Twenty-Five: The Devil Within

I've ignored a few issues so I could enjoy the show for a while, such as that witches don't believe in the Abrahamic God or Satan, so the main plot is flawed from the start. By this time in the series, there have been so many plot changes, it feels like the writers are just trying to depress the audience, just like with Riverdale. There is much better fantasy than this garbage. The soap opera scene between Sabrina and Nick was reminiscent of Buffy. I'd hoped that writers had learned since Buffy, and stopped writing female leads as weak and needy when it comes to bad men, but alas, here we are again. The show is so convoluted now. They can't even consistently refer to the pagans as pagans, sometimes calling then heathens, which is a different concept again. Adios, witches.

So, seaason 1 ended with Sabrina signing the Book, which ment signing away her free will. This of course got retconned into nothing to avoid consequences.

Here happens the same, but it is worse.

Se,, the plots here are:

• witches globaly loose power because Stan is entrapped (and Lilith had no plan for this)
• the pagan witches or pagan gods, or the Great Old Ones of Lovecraft or whatever are comeing back because Satan is entrapped.

• Hell is in turmoil, because Satan is entrapped.

I bet you can figure out the problem here: that Satan is no longer entrapped! Thus every single issue is instantly cancelled. At least that should be. But nothing has consequences.
